Early Life and Career
Oliver George Arthur Watkins, commonly known as Ollie Watkins, was born on 30 December 1995, in Bideford, Devon, England. He began his football career with local club Exeter City, before moving to Weston-super-Mare in 2014. In 2017, Watkins joined Brentford, where he quickly became a key player, scoring over 50 goals in his three seasons with the club.
Aston Villa Career
In September 2020, Watkins joined Aston Villa for a club-record fee of £28 million. He has since established himself as one of the most exciting young forwards in the Premier League, scoring crucial goals and helping Villa to a strong mid-table finish in the 2020/21 season.
